『Fresh Hop（フレッシュホップ）』
The "Fresh Hop" series is enjoyed only once a year, during this season.
Freshly picked hops from Hokuto City, Yamanashi Prefecture, are harvested by the brewers themselves and used for brewing at the Kawagoe brewery on the same day, resulting in the clean bitterness and fresh aroma that only fresh hops can provide.
With the cooperation of Hokuto Hops (Kobayashi Farm), we brewed the beer together with the brewers from the hop harvesting to the beer preparation.
The hops used in this beer were carefully balanced to create a golden ale.
Hops take a long time to grow in the cool climate of Hokuto City's highlands before they are finally ready to be used in beer. The efforts and time of the growers are lavishly invested in this process.
The still precious domestic hops are in the midst of a history that is being built up with the growers, brewers, and consumers.
