We have just completed a fruit ale perfect for early summer, using prunes produced in Saku City, Nagano Prefecture!
This time, we purchased out-of-spec prune varieties that could not be marketed due to their overripeness, shape, or blemishes from Kyodo Shoji's Fruits & Vegetables and Flower Products Division, which is a direct trading company of agricultural products, and transformed them into a refreshing fruit ale. COEDO, the company's beer division, uses these products as raw materials to create a refreshing fruit ale.
The low-alcohol, light, fruity aroma and refreshing sourness from the luxurious use of "Samploon" from Nagano Prefecture make this ale perfect for the early summer season.
