Natsuhate", a limited-edition autumn brew, has been released with a new look.
This fruit ale is perfect for early autumn, and is a taste of the seasonal fruit "Wanashi" (Japanese pear).
Natsuhate" is one of a series of fruit ales made with Japanese pears produced in Higashimatsuyama, Saitama Prefecture, and has been a seasonal beer every fall since its release in the fall of 2019.
Higashimatsuyama City in Saitama Prefecture, where COEDO Craft Beer Brewery is located, has been growing pears for about 60 years. It is known as one of the leading pear growing areas in the prefecture.
This year, we used "Saidama," an original Saitama Prefecture variety grown in the Tohei district located right next to the brewery. It is characterized by its large, massive appearance, yet elegant sweetness and freshness.
It retains the delicate flavor of Japanese pears, while the oats leave a smooth mouthfeel and body, and the tropical fruit-like hop aroma from the el Dorado adds juiciness, resulting in a hazy fruit ale.
Please note that the number of bottles is limited.
